# Re-adding an old node

I have about three nodes that I removed from the TF grid over a year ago. The SSDs are cleaned and the keys are not saved. Is there any way to get those node IDs back? or do I have to add them as new nodes?

As far as I know, you need to create new nodes if you did not back up the node ids
